My Theory

Now, before I share my theory, you need to be listening with an open mind. What I’m about to share is a bit out there. It isn’t impossible though. If you promise to give this a chance, I invite you to keep reading. If you are not open to extreme possibility, well then, … well there is nothing I can really do, this is a website, I can’t stop you from reading with that closed mind of yours.

My theory is that some, not all but some, folklore creatures, a.k.a. cryptids, alien UFO sightings, and even some paranormal activity have an element of truth that originated in an alternate quantum reality that collided with ours. A collision that…don’t snicker… a collision that temporarily opened a rift or portal allowing a something into our world.

You think I’m nuts don’t you? Okay I get it but hear me out as this isn’t as crazy as it might seem.

First, quantum theory, no I’m not throwing “quantum” into the mix to make it sound legit, quantum theory has real mathematical models and interpretations that actually state there could be alternate universes stacked on top of each other in the same collective energy fields that make up our physics. Look them up. From the multiple worlds theory to higher dimensional theories to altered energy state theories, all of which involve the possibility of alternate physical realities we just can’t interact with. Most of which, if a moment of coherence between the two realities could connect them, even if only for a short time.

So if these alternate physical worlds exist, quantum coherence could happen, and life existed within those other realities … well that leads me to ask “What could cross that threshold into our world?”.

See, it make sense right?

I get it, it’s kind of scary. Human’s don’t exactly have a great track record for handling the unknown. Plus, this theory adds new weight to the question of “what if monsters exist?” poking at that internal fear button of ours.

The upside here is I don’t believe these rifts happen all that often and happen mostly in rural areas and wildness and there are several theories I have for this. As civilizations grew, we messed with the natural order. While we added comforts and order in our utilitarian lives, we injected energetic chaos into our quantum natural existence. I’ll dive more into that much later, but in a nutshell, quantum coherence struggles to happen in this chaos. So outside of some urban hauntings and sightings, these rifts and biological crossing are more likely to happen where nature itself still rein’s supreme.

This leads me into another point, reports of witnesses.

There are several real things in our world we still struggle to explain or situations that the general public don’t understand. From certain radio waves that can induce feelings of dread to ball lightning that to an everyday person would look extremely weird. Human strive to understand the world around them and if they don’t understand the foundation or source, we will make something up. As a result, not all sightings are going to be due to actual rift activity, but humans just working out their own reality. There are books of folklore and witness statements filled with this which unfortunately creates a lot of “hay” to shift through to find evidence of my rift portal theory.

I believe I right though. I also do question my own sanity sometimes. Hard not when you’re see the look you’re probably making as you read this. I get it but this just makes sense to me. To steal the words of a certain X-Files agent, “The truth is out there” and I am going to take a big heaping leap of faith and travel the States in hopes of finding it.

The journey before is going to hold a lot of amazing experiences, as I dive into the histories of local stories, witness sightings, and more. I’m going to document my travels and the details of these experiences here. Whether I’m right or wrong, the truth will be shared here. Maybe, hopefully, I can make you a believer too!
